Jay Schroeder is an America First candidate running for Wisconsin Secretary of State. Schroeder believes in the importance of election integrity. Jay looks forward to working with the next Governor to give back honest and fair elections.

Incumbent Doug La Follette was first elected as Wisconsin Secretary of State in 1972. Formerly, Wisconsin Secretaries of State were in charge of elections before the Wisconsin Elections Commission took over this responsibility. Wisconsin lawmakers are expected to take up a Republican bill that seeks to dissolve this Commission, an action that Jay supports. Thirty-three states in the US have the Secretary of State in charge of elections.

Jay is an active member of the Republican Party. He was the past Finance Chair for the Winnebago County Republican Party, assisted in the campaign of Governor Scott Walker, has served on the Menomonie City Council and as a Town of Menasha Supervisor.

Jay and his wife Rebekah have four children and reside in Neenah, WI.
